Job Description

The Global DEI Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization's strategic goals and promoting a culture of inclusivity. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Sustainability, this individual will be responsible for ensuring alignment and collaboration on company-wide DEI plans and priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across regions.
  • Partnering with business departments and regional teams to tailor global DEI strategies into localized action plans.
  • Establishing and animating the LDC DEI Governance Structure and Operating Model to support global and regional/local DEI initiatives.
  • Providing input to DEI-related content for RFPs and client surveys.
Talent Development & Retention

The Global DEI Manager will collaborate closely with the Global Talent COE to consult on specific actions supporting the recruitment, development, and retention of underrepresented talent.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with recruiting teams to develop strategies and best practices to enhance the pipeline of underrepresented talent.
  • Developing related strategies, training, and programs to raise awareness of the importance of DEI and improve engagement, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Setting up a comprehensive strategy for creating an LDC affinity group structure to provide support for, advocacy of, and celebration of underrepresented communities.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of DEI/talent management experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to raise awareness, engage others, listen empathetically, and express empathetic candor when addressing challenging and sensitive issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability that promotes an environment of collaboration, inclusivity, and high performance.

This position can be based in Lyon, France or Sao Paolo, Brazil or Geneva, Switzerland or Wilton CT, USA. The ideal candidate will have excellent teamwork skills and be able to build strong relationships with colleagues across the organization.
