Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing high-quality audio assets, including sound effects, music, and Foley, using industry-standard tools and techniques.
  • Collaborating with directors, producers, and technical teams to ensure sound quality and cohesion throughout the project.
  • Facilitating collaboration with external audio teams, serving as a liaison between them and your project's team.
  • Optimizing audio files by selecting optimal extensions and compression formats, ensuring each project achieves optimized size without compromising sound quality.
  • Comprehensively documenting all audio-related information within a project in a structured manner, ensuring ease of access for the team to reference when needed.

Requirements include:

  • Vast experience in creating original sound effects for interactive digital experiences, using tools like synthesis and Foley.
  • Experience in working with middleware and dynamic audio, using tools like FMOD and MetaSounds.
  • Knowledge about compression and audio file formats and how to optimize them.
  • Experience in mixing and mastering audio for interactive media.
