At Datadog, we're seeking a skilled Commercial Sales Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll play a crucial role in qualifying and closing opportunities with customers and partners.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the sales team to articulate the Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers
  • Continuously learn new technology to build competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
  • Deliver product and technical presentations with potential clients
  • Collaborate with the product team to prioritize features based on customer input, competitors, and partners
  • Assist clients with onboarding and resolve technical issues
  • Think creatively about technical challenges during the pre-sales life cycle

What We're Looking For:

  • Knowledgeable and experienced with DevOps monitoring or architecture tools
  • Comfortable delivering technical presentations/demos to external customers or internal teams
  • Able to think creatively about technical challenges
  • Previous experience in systems administration: Windows or Linux
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time
