Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring a safe workplace and maintaining quality standards. This position reports to the Quality Manager or designee.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Maintain a safe work environment with safety as the highest priority.
- Comply with Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance/Quality Control requirements and goals.
- Perform inspections and audits at the job site, including HVAC-R systems and electrical systems.
- Understand and apply contractual requirements and applicable standards in auditing duties.
- Prepare audit templates/checklists based on contract, internal procedures, and project requirements.
- Objectively document audit results, related corrective actions, and/or preventive actions requests.
- Conduct follow-up audits on corrective actions and verify completion and compliance.
- Collect data required for successful performance of audits and perform data analysis and trends.
- Promote quality culture among employees and participate in achieving contractual requirements.
- Ensure optimal use of resources in terms of allocated time and equipment.
- Travel to all sites to perform work.
- Three (3) years of experience in facilities, equipment, and systems operation and maintenance disciplines.
- Two (2) years of experience in QA/QC discipline, or in a job that fulfills the required skillset.
- Experience working in an OCONUS environment.
- Advanced ability to visually inspect, verify, and review material, equipment, tools, operational areas, and documentation.
- Good knowledge of surveillance methods used in services providing environment.
- Willingness to learn and advance required skills.
- Computer skills in MS Office suite, particularly in Word and Excel.
- Certificate of completion/graduation of Secondary School at minimum.
- Bachelor's degree or vocational education in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: QA/QC credentials and/or credentials in HVAC-R or Electrical discipline are preferred.
