About the Job:

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality service that enhances machine performance and ensures an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded skill set in mechanical, electrical, and computer systems, including equipment operation, assembly, and installation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that machines are working according to customer expectations.
  • Reacting to machine problems in the field within an appropriate time frame and ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Solving mechanical or operational efficiency problems.
  • Troubleshooting machine and/or performance issues until resolved.
  • Performing preventative maintenance to include pre- and post-season machine maintenance and work to improve the continuous performance of the machines.
  • Completing disassembly and installation of mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, belts, motors.
  • Maintaining close relationships with sales leadership by providing updates to customers and advising on potential sales opportunities or customer concerns for follow-up action(s).
  • Actively contributing to continuous improvement activities.
  • Assisting with the training and development of new Field Service Technicians as requested.
  • Addressing or escalating customer complaints; ensuring these are investigated or resolved, where possible, in a timely, clear, and professional manner.
  • Working proactively with customers and internal stakeholders to successfully complete projects (e.g., testing, retrofits, or R&D site upgrades).
