Logistics Reconciliation Specialist

Are you looking for an opportunity to provide timely reconciliation of logistics claims for all retail and wholesale customers while ensuring compliance with established audit standards? If so, this is the role for you.

This Logistics Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing customer logistics claims for accuracy and compliance. They will also provide updates on all claims and deductions to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue debit/credit memos for United States and Puerto Rico claims according to SOX compliance and audit requirements.
  • Utilize available resources to research, validate, credit, and reconcile receivable claims and deductions taken by retail and wholesale customers.
  • Issue debits for all military bases and credits for the distributors for each call period.
  • Obtain supporting documentation from customer or carrier via web portals or other means.
  • Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Utilize both standard and ad hoc reports to obtain and provide relevant reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify trends and root cause analysis with the goal to reduce and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Understand key vendor agreements to ensure appropriate handling of deduction issues.
  • Provide updates to stakeholders regarding deduction issues, coordinating with the Sales team, customers and financial services team.
  • Assure adherence to all Corporate and government guidelines.
  • Provide internal and external auditor support, maintaining our values of integrity and transparency.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Accounting or Business.
  • 2+ years' experience in reconciliation.
