Family Farming Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced specialist to contribute to the national processes of strengthening family farmers in Brazil.
About the Role- The successful candidate will assist in the development of propositions for the adequacy of regulations and governance instruments, aiming to subsidize the Department of the National Registry of Family Agriculture (DCAF) in the consolidation of the National Registry of Family Agriculture (CAF).
- Key responsibilities include assisting in the development of guidance materials in relation to CAF's regulations and governance instruments, adapted to the different profiles of users and beneficiaries.
- Analyze legal and intralegal data in context of the CAF and systematize maps related to this data.
- Conduct research on normative acts, operational manuals and similar documents, in order to provide insights that can subsidize the elaboration of settings or adequacy of regulations related to CAF.
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Social Sciences or Agricultural Sciences.
- Minimum experience of 05 years in management, formulation, implementation and/or analysis of public policies.
- Working knowledge of Portuguese and working knowledge of English or Spanish.
- Nationality of Brazil or resident of the country with valid work permit.
