Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Cloud Engineering Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our engineering team, ensuring that our managed services meet the highest standards of quality and velocity.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams and driving process improvements, as well as experience with cloud technologies and Linux system administration.

As a member of our BootStack team, you will be working closely with customers, product engineering, and operations to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of our products.

This is a globally remote role, offering flexibility and autonomy while requiring occasional travel for team meetings and customer engagements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of managing software delivery teams using Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar
  • Experience with OpenStack and Linux system administration, with a focus on Ubuntu/Debian
  • Demonstrated commitment to testing methodologies and maintainable code quality
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills, with experience working in distributed teams
