Senior Technical Advisor - Critical Energy Solutions

Support sales in engaging with customers to articulate prospective business solutions and value propositions addressing main challenges related to energy services. This role requires strong technical leadership, advisory skills and expertise in solution design, architecture and implementation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical guidance and support to sales teams, tenders and customers to ensure effective communication of solutions and value propositions.
  2. Serve as a technical expert for pre-sales activities and internal events, providing input on solution design, architecture and implementation.
  3. Participate in customer meetings to understand requirements and environment, ensuring that solutions meet customer needs.
  4. Communicate with customer representatives to present fitting solutions, highlighting the benefits and advantages of each option.
  5. Prepare technical materials, presentations and tools to support sales and tenders, ensuring that they are accurate and effective.
  6. Define architecture and design of solutions/services for projects, taking into account customer requirements and business objectives.
  7. Assist in timely and accurate completion of RFIs/RFPs, providing input on solution design and implementation.
  8. Size solutions and contribute to pricing and lifecycle cost analysis, ensuring that solutions meet customer budget and business objectives.
  9. Assess technical risks and support mitigation strategies, ensuring that solutions are implemented with minimal risk.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in a technical role with sales/pre-sales/tendering background, preferably in the energy services sector.
  • Knowledge of critical energy and cooling solutions, including data center monitoring, control software, microdata centers and cooling sizing.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical expertise in UPS and cooling systems, with knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Leadership, team spirit and multicultural adaptability, with ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Structured, process-oriented approach with good planning skills, ensuring that solutions are implemented efficiently and effectively.
  • Motivated to handle complex projects and challenging environments, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Language proficiency in English required, with Spanish preferred.
