About the Role

Clinical Educators play a pivotal role in ensuring that healthcare professionals have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide high-quality patient care. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating our facility's infection control program, providing technical support and education to staff, and collaborating with our Hospital Epidemiologist to improve infection prevention practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based infection control policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and educational programs for staff on best practices in infection prevention.
  • Work closely with the Hospital Epidemiologist to investigate and resolve infection outbreaks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of infection surveillance and control activities, utilizing data to inform infection prevention strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field is required, along with certification in infection control/prevention.
  • Current licensure in Pennsylvania is mandatory, as is a minimum of 5-8 years of nursing experience.
