We are seeking a highly skilled IT Application Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and applications.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

\
  • \
  • Maintaining accurate system documentation while adhering to regulatory requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).\
  • Developing preventive action plans if metrics fall short of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), in alignment with operational excellence measures.\
  • Identifying patterns in recurring incidents and initiating the Problem Management process.\
  • Conducting comprehensive root cause analyses.\
  • Utilizing expertise in PL/SQL to assist in data analysis, debugging, and query optimization to ensure efficient and accurate data processing.\
  • Leveraging MQTT knowledge to manage and troubleshoot message queuing telemetry transport systems, ensuring reliable and efficient data communication.\
  • Maintaining messaging integrations with Azure Service Bus and EventHub, ensuring data flows smoothly and securely across systems.\
  • Utilizing Datadog for logs and monitors analysis, identifying trends, performance issues, and potential areas of improvement.\
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.\
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve processes.\
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders.\
  • Documenting and sharing knowledge and best practices within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • \
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL and strong experience in working with relational databases, writing complex queries, and optimizing database performance.\
  • Solid understanding of MQTT protocols and experience in managing message queuing telemetry transport systems.\
  • Experience with messaging integrations using Azure Service Bus and EventHub is a strong advantage.\
  • Familiarity with Datadog for logs and monitors analysis, with the ability to derive actionable insights from monitoring data.\
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.\
  • Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps principles.
