Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at The Kempston Group.

About the Role: As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for presenting and selling our company products and services to clients, identifying sales prospects, and developing and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Marketing: Present and sell company products and services to clients, prepare action plans, follow up on leads, and identify sales prospects.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain client relationships, manage account services, resolve client concerns, and provide status reports.
  • Order Management: Take weekly and monthly orders, capture sales orders, and follow up on orders.
  • Customer Service: Follow up on customer payments, manage consignment stock, and coordinate shipping schedules.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Participate in marketing events, provide on-the-job training, and work alternative Saturdays at the front desk.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience as a salesperson in the Mining, Agricultural, or Forestry Industries, Logistics Companies, or Manufacturing Industry.
  • Matric Certificate or equivalent academic qualification.
  • Previous battery sales experience advantageous.
  • Technical background advantageous.
  • Computer literate in Excel, Word, and experienced in various ERP systems.
  • Valid Code 08 driver's license.
