Logistics Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to oversee our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation management, warehouse communication, and material handling.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating transportation for inbound and outbound shipments, monitoring transportation providers' performance, and ensuring on-time deliveries.

  • Schedule Management:

    The Logistics Operations Manager will optimize routing and logistics to minimize costs, maintain regular communication with warehouse teams, and ensure timely receipt and dispatch of materials.

  • Billing and Invoicing:

    The candidate will manage the billing process, verifying accuracy and completeness of invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain records of invoices and payments.

  • Customer Complaint Resolution:

    The Logistics Operations Manager will address customer complaints related to logistics and supply chain services promptly and professionally, investigate the root causes of complaints, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Automation Processes:

    The successful candidate will develop and implement automation solutions such as macros, robots, and custom code to optimize logistics and supply chain processes, identify opportunities for processing automation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions.

  • Safety & Compliance:

    The Logistics Operations Manager will respond to internal and external audits, ensure timely and accurate compliance reporting, and promote safety by maintaining compliance with all relevant safety standards and legal requirements.

  • Qualifications:

    • Education:

      A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

    • Experience:

      Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations is required.

    • Skills:

      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, quality knowledge, and proficiency in creating macros, robots, custom code, and data dashboards using systems like Power BI and Power Automate.
