Global Supply Chain Coordinator

As a Global Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement to delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Transportation Management:
  • Schedule and coordinate transportation for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor transportation providers' performance and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Optimize routing and logistics to minimize costs and reduce carbon footprint.
• Warehouse Communication:
  • Maintain regular communication with warehouse teams to ensure smooth receipt and dispatch of materials.
  • Conduct audits and reviews of inventory levels and accuracy, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with warehouses to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Material Handling:
  • Oversee the receipt and inspection of materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate material storage and retrieval, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the supply chain.
• Billing and Invoicing:
  • Manage the billing process, verifying accuracy and completeness of invoices.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and issues with suppliers and service providers.
  • Maintain records of invoices and payments, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Customer Complaint Resolution:
  • Address customer complaints related to logistics and supply chain services promptly and professionally.
  • Investigate the root causes of complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Automation Processes:
  • Develop and implement automation solutions such as macros, robots, and custom code to optimize logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Identify opportunities for processing automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions.
• Dashboard Development and Maintenance:
  • Create and maintain data dashboards using systems like Power BI and Power Automate to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and streamline decision-making processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy and relevance of dashboard data and reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for dashboard development.
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Respond to internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate compliance reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies as well as local regulations related to storage and transportation.
  • Promote a culture of safety by maintaining compliance with all relevant safety standards and legal requirements.
• Strategic Logistics Projects:
  • Coordinate and drive strategic logistics projects by assessing new operations, expanding transport modes, managing warehouses, conducting market analysis, planning and executing projects, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, collaborating with stakeholders, and monitoring performance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Quality Knowledge: Familiarity with quality control processes and standards within logistics and supply chain operations (ISO 9000, 14000, IATF, etc.). Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office applications. Experience in creating macros, robots, custom code, and data dashboards using systems like Power BI and Power Automate. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) would be beneficial. Fluency in both Portuguese and English, with the ability to effectively communicate in both languages. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
