Executive Director of Technical Operations

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned technologist with a passion for leading teams and driving technical excellence. They will have the ability to oversee software development projects using Agile Methodologies, applying the processes that best fit each team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cultural transformation by guiding, inspiring, and engaging teams as they continue to evolve, develop, design, and deliver cutting-edge platforms to clients.
  • Build high-performing teams by regularly checking in with engineers to identify priorities and challenges, finding ways to simplify their work and improve productivity.
  • Utilize technical expertise to review team output and help individuals excel in an Agile environment, being proactive and hands-on when identifying potential issues.
  • Influence and inspire confidence by presenting to senior leaders, product owners, architects, and peers with a compelling voice, demonstrating executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, leveraging experience in Design and Development of High Scalable/High Volume Applications, and up-to-date knowledge of technology trends.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Expertise in Software Engineering, Project/Product Management, and Team Leadership.
  • Capability of providing technical direction and mentorship to the development team.
  • Experience in Design and Development of High Scalable/High Volume Applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
  • Prior experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships within the team and with other departments.
