eDiscovery Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled eDiscovery Analyst to join our team at ExxonMobil Corporation. As an eDiscovery Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing daily support for FTK (Forensic Toolkit) Central and collectors, ensuring the smooth operation of our data collection processes.

Key Responsibilities

• FTK Central and Collector Support: Provide daily support for FTK Central and collectors, ensuring timely and accurate data collection.
• Application Management: Manage upgrades and functionality of on-premise applications, ensuring seamless integration with our data collection processes.
• Issue Resolution: Use scripting and other support skills to diagnose issues and pull reporting as needed, ensuring prompt resolution of technical challenges.
• Communication and Documentation: Explain issues to collectors and Law teams at an appropriate level for their understanding, and document and maintain collection processes.
• Manual Collection Support: Provide support for manual collection processes when standard tools cannot collect data, ensuring timely and accurate data collection.
• IT Collaboration: Troubleshoot with IT Service Organizations (email, server ops, SharePoint, applications) when manual collections run into technical challenges, and work with IT Service Organizations to quickly escalate priority collections.
• Process Improvement: Create/Resolve manual collection incidents and work with resolver teams to improve their processes and response time to prevent reoccurrence.
• Vendor Management: Engage with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and enhancements, and hold vendors accountable to resolve issues quickly to avoid recycle and delay on legal required deadlines.

Project and Secondary Responsibilities

• Lift and Shift of FTK Central: Work on the lift and shift and implementation of the next iteration of FTK Central.
• Citizen Developer: Serve as a Citizen Developer for eDiscovery collection forms in ServiceNow.
• Future Technologies: Onboard new technologies for decryption, data storage either on the Cloud or on Prem.

Requirements

• Application Support: Ability to decipher logs to understand root cause or unexpected behavior.
• Powershell Scripting: Proficiency in Powershell scripting.
• SQL ANSI Experience: Skilled SQL ANSI experience.
• Windows Operating Systems: Knowledge of Windows Operating systems and file storage.
• Quality of Work: Quality of work is held to a high standard accuracy, with attention to detail necessary.
• Quantity of Work: Adaptable to waves, seeking someone to solve root cause and document to prevent reoccurrence.
• Sense of Urgency: Sense of urgency for completing time-sensitive work.
• Communication: Ability to interface and communicate properly with LAW teams, including technical writing at a proper business level.
• Customer Focus: Customer-focused mindset and attitude without losing the technical.
• Drives Work to Completion: Drives work to completion.
• Data Sensitivity: Appreciation and adherence to proper management of sensitive data and chain of custody.
• Security and Controls: Sensitivity and experience with drafting and owning security & controls documents.
• Relationship Building: Willingness to develop relationships to better our influence (DBAM, SharePoint, e-mail, Server/Storage, Modern Client, WAN, AA, CES).
• Mentorship: Mentors and trains collectors and junior members of the Team regularly on processes/solutions.
• Education: IT-related graduation.
• Language: English - Advanced/Fluent.

• MSP Experience: Experience in working with MSP (HCL); direct or indirect.
