Leading Operational Sites as a Multi-Site Leader

Amazon is seeking a skilled and experienced leader to join our First Mile team in Rio de Janeiro, RJ. As a Multi-Site Leader, you will be responsible for providing inspiring and supportive leadership across multiple operational sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a team of Shift Managers and their direct reports while reporting to the Senior Operations Manager.
  • Maintaining health and safety standards within your area of responsibility while promoting and fostering a strong safety culture on site.
  • Becoming proficient in specific large-scale processes and activities within SCPs, such as 5S audits.
  • Managing meaningful data collection within the inventory control and systems environment, and updating operational metrics on an hourly basis.
  • Striving to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and ensure an outstanding customer and seller experience.
  • Collaborating closely with other support teams such as HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and Security, and IT on staffing plans, schedules, and performance levels.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Employee and performance management experience (leading large and diverse teams).
  • Expertise in two or more production or supply chain areas.
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements, also analyze the data you generate.
  • Advanced level in Excel (vlookup, advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros);
  • Fluent Portuguese and advanced English;
  • Available to travel 20% of the time to visit SCPs in your regional

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience with Kaizen and Lean methodologies and related techniques
