Job Summary:

As a senior project engineer, you will lead the development, coordination and review of designs and technical standards for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. This includes leading technical oversight during design and construction, ensuring value-engineered solutions that meet project specifications and enhance system performance.

  • Drive technical excellence and provide supervision for the design and construction phases of the project.
  • Lead and oversee engineering service providers, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

You will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving technical specifications for facilities and equipment. Additionally, you will provide engineering and QA/QC support to the project management team during project construction and commissioning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility-scale solar and energy storage project engineering.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering teams &/or consultants and managing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of IEEE standards, EPC processes, and interconnection requirements.
  • Proficiency in tools and platforms such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, SCADA, and Primavera.
