">Job Description:
As an Energy Systems Expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient integration of new energy sources into the grid. This entails collaborating with internal teams to propose innovative solutions to control system and modelling problems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in regular project meetings to summarize and follow up on issues related to site-specific models;
- Visiting customers to communicate technical model issues and participating in technical exchange meetings of power grid companies/customers;
- Testing simulation models and related manuals for new energy grid-connected equipment;
- Validating new products against regional grid code requirements through collaboration with the model development and HIL testing teams;
- Understanding emerging grid code and product requirements in relevant regions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering or a related field;
- Strong English technical communication skills and English document writing skills (Spanish proficiency is also required to cover the LATAM region);
- Proficiency in DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSCAD for power system simulation and modeling;
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python;
- Preferably experience in control system design of wind, solar, or storage converters and grid-connected modeling and delivery, both domestically and internationally;
- Differential advantage: experience with EMTP-RV and ANATEM.
