About the Role:

As a Cloud Financial Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the financial optimization of our cloud infrastructure and services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud cost management, financial analysis, and the ability to implement best practices for cost efficiency and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in financial management, cloud cost optimization, or a related field, with at least 5+ years in a cloud financial management role.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their pricing models.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Experience with cloud cost management and optimization tools.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FinOps certifications such as Certified FinOps Practitioner or similar.
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
