Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced software modernization professional to lead and execute complex transformation projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, extensive experience with modernization projects, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Lead and execute software modernization projects, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems to modern architectures.
  • Analyze existing legacy codebases to understand business logic, dependencies, and potential risks during migration.
  • Design and implement solutions that maintain the integrity and functionality of legacy systems while improving performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Main Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
  2. Experience as a Software Architect or Senior Developer focused on modernization projects.
  3. Expertise migrating legacy systems, preferably from COBOL to modern languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
  4. Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  5. Excellent written and oral communications skills – proficiency in English is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) in the context of modernization projects.
  2. Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
