Job Overview

We seek a Senior Vendor Manager to drive vendor performance, negotiate terms, and handle promotions for key vendors and partners. This role plays a crucial part in the Retail team by analyzing business data, improving product selection, and increasing sales through marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to analyze complex terms and margin structures, and work well with other teams including Finance and Inventory Management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managers focus on customers, vendors, and functional teams.
  • CUSTOMERS: Hold category-specific knowledge about customers and their needs, emerging trends, and market segment evolution.
  • VENDORS: Own vendor relationships, auditing and escalating performance, improving terms and cost structures through negotiation, and developing long-term partnerships.
  • CENTRAL AND FUNCTIONAL TEAMS: Represent customer and business needs, driving central teams for system evolution, and implementing initiatives within categories.

A day in this role involves managing inputs by driving product offerings, securing great prices, and accelerating growth. The ideal candidate will have strong ownership values, passion for innovation, and hustle, as well as experience across e-commerce and relevant categories.
