Computational Training Specialist

We seek a detail-oriented and strategic Computational Training Specialist to support the NDCF Training Program. This role will lead grant proposal development, fundraising initiatives, and relationship management with federal and private funding agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grant Proposal Development: Collaborate closely with co-directors to identify, assess, and pursue funding opportunities from federal agencies (e.g., NIH, NSF) and private foundations, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  • Lead writing and preparation of grant proposals, ensuring high-quality submissions that clearly communicate the impact on neurodegeneration research and computational training.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key funders, including NIH, NSF, and private foundations, to foster long-term funding partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional grant writing skills, leadership and collaboration abilities, and strong communication skills for engaging with funders, program leadership, and research teams.

This position requires a strong background in grant writing, project management, and relationship building. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and submitting grant proposals, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and maintaining effective relationships with funding agencies.

A successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working with researchers, academics, and other stakeholders. They will also have a proven track record of securing funding through grant proposals and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

  4. Collaborating with co-directors to identify, assess, and pursue funding opportunities.
