  • Responsibilities include managing local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN), addressing, switches, routers, wireless local area networks (WLAN), active directory (AD), domain name system (DNS), network performance monitoring (NPM), firewalls, content delivery networks (CDN's), load balancers, network functions virtualization (NFV), private networks, internet access, and monitoring data collection tools.
Key Requirements
  • English advanced level proficiency.
  • Cisco certified network associate (CCNA) certification.
  • Experience in configuration, troubleshooting, testing, installation, maintenance, and repair (IMAC) for access/border/core networks for Cisco/HP devices.
  • Small/medium-sized LAN/L3 switches, small/medium/large L3-L7 routers for access/edge/core, WLAN Cisco/HP devices.
  • Palo alto firewalls, secure access service edge (SASE), and cybersecurity knowledge.
  • Identification, testing, and deployment of cabling CAT5-9, fiber optics MM/SM.
  • Testing for radio and mobile access communication.
  • Knowledge of nsx/virtualization networks.
  • Active directory/RADIUS/802.1x/multi-factor authentication.
  • Palo alto VPN servers/windows jump server configurations.
Desirable Skills
  • Fortinet/Huawei knowledge for network (LAN/WLAN) and security devices.
  • Microsoft windows operating systems, office 365 e1/e3/e5, AD, single/MFA experience.
  • End-user support experience in recording, diagnosing, and resolving problems in microcomputing, hardware, operating systems, telephony, videoconferencing, web conferencing, audio conferencing, and related areas.
  • Clarifying doubts and guiding users on software, applications, information systems, equipment, standards, and procedures in the technological environment.
  • Identifying and reporting critical problems with significant impacts on the technological environment.
  • Analyzing hardware requirements for software installations.
  • Testing functionalities of new equipment, components, or peripherals, and preparing configuration and user guides or manuals.
  • Reinstalling default images on workstations or notebooks, including backing up user data.
  • Executing activities of the asset management process in customer locations.
  • VMware nsx certification.
  • Basic zabbix configuration knowledge for network devices.
