Job Summary:
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire deal development process from initiation to closure. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to negotiate and secure lucrative deals with internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement complex financial models to review business agreements, pricing, and overall deal strategy.
- Work closely with Customer Account Managers to retain or win new business with issuers, merchants, and key customers.
- Serve on the deal committee to create a framework of policies and improve processes; liaise with key stakeholders to drive strategy around the deal proposal process.
- Drive negotiations and presentations with key customers by performing day-to-day financial modeling and developing business cases.
- Thoroughly review complex proposals to highlight areas of concern.
- Manage a team, conduct goal setting and performance appraisal processes, identify and coach top talent within own team.
- Extensive experience with financial modeling and business case anticipation to identify areas of risk and/or unique issues.
- A proven track record solving difficult problems with effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience in financial analysis and/or deal management.
- Bilingual (English-Portuguese) required.
- Knowledge/experience with Brazilian payments industry strongly preferred.
- Exceptional Excel skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to influence effectively, especially with more senior staff.
