Job Description:

As a finance assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting plant production and office operations by assisting the finance head with timely and accurate finance-related transactions. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Creating requisitions for expenses under finance monitoring.
  • Validating and approving requisitions from other departments, ensuring correct activity type and GL accounts are used.
  • Checking the accuracy of actual billing and ensuring vendors' computations are substantiated.
  • Reviewing contracts and discussing commercial terms.
  • Collecting quantitative information required to develop a financial budget.
  • Ensuring proper recording of Capex and conducting an inventory of assets to validate physical existence.
  • Managing petty cash transactions.
  • Coordinating any need for adjustment in employee DTR.
  • Orienting new hires on the proper use of timekeeping tools.
  • Assisting in filing regulatory and statutory reports for the company.
  • Providing inputs to the book closing process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
  • Preferably at least 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry or any related industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
