Leadership Role in Brazilian Accounting

This role offers the opportunity to lead a key team within our accounting organization, driving daily operations and financial projects forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the accounting team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, coaching, and development.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including balance sheet accounts such as bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
  • Manage month-end close activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants on accounting record reviews, reconciliation, and open item clearance; support the team in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and monthly financial reports.
  • Serve as a key liaison for internal stakeholders, providing guidance on complex financial issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree is desirable.
  • Proven experience in accounting leadership, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced international setting.
  • Proficiency in ERP finance applications; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese essential.
