Locomotive Systems Integration Specialist

The Lead Engineer/Technologist will collaborate with customers, suppliers, and engineering teams to identify and capture requirements for the Locomotive Control System.
This individual will be responsible for designing, integrating, and validating Train Control subsystem functions for locomotives suitable for application in both English and non-English speaking environments.
They will lead/support investigations for root-cause identification and resolution of reliability issues.
Key Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field is required.
- Proven experience in an engineering position is essential.
- Experience with controls/software design, diagnostics, and test is highly desirable.
- Ability to work hands-on in test labs and on locomotives with high HP systems is a must.
- Strong English technical writing and communication skills are required.
- Experience with MATLAB Simulink or other Modeling tools is preferred.
