Job Title: Lead Engine Controls Engineer

This role is responsible for leading the design and development of modern internal combustion engine controls, powertrain systems for locomotive/automotive applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and experience with modeling, simulation, and calibration tools used in engine control system development. The job holder will lead technical development dealing with multiple stakeholders and bring quality solutions.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Defining system-level requirements, preparing test plans, performing system validation, and participating in design reviews.
  • Designing and developing engine control systems for locomotives, leading/participating in product conceptual designs, and conducting simulator testing.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Experience with modeling, simulation, and calibration tools used in engine control system development.
  • Strong leadership skills, including ability to motivate and direct technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
