Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Sales Leader to join our team at BDP International. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new chemical accounts in Latin America, establishing and maintaining profitable business relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth through cross-and up-selling activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take sales ownership for an assigned list of multi-regional chemical companies not currently conducting business with BDP International in the assigned region.
  • Establish long-term business relationships with prospects and enhance customer relationships throughout their contract to encourage contract renewal and/or extension, or issuance of a new RFP.
  • Develop strategic solutions unique to each company to reduce overall logistics costs while improving sales to current and new customers.
  • Work closely with each region to transfer and share all knowledge about potential clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of strategic sales and/or chemical logistics sales experience.
  • Track record of creating and enabling revenue streams.
  • Solid knowledge of domestic and international logistics.
  • Excellent presentation skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to effectively network and influence prospects from senior to executive level.
  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills, as well as ability to work well with various cultures.
  • High degree of integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
