The Director of Sales - Brazil is responsible for leading the strategy to identify, expand and prioritize volume development opportunities within the Brazil territory.
This position involves identifying new business opportunities to achieve or exceed sales targets, including the development of new markets.
The Director provides leadership for three Regional Sales Managers in Brazil, ensuring the team's quarterly and annual sales targets and new market openings are consistently met.
Key responsibilities include managing sales promotional activities for Brazil, working with managers to develop new markets, and creating key performance indicators to track value drivers.
The Director also collaborates with internal Legal resources to negotiate contracts, coordinates with Marketing and Strategy departments, and communicates with regional and international team members.
- Direct and develop a high-performing sales team with timely feedback.
- Manage sales promotional activities for Brazil.
- Work with managers to assist them in developing new markets in Brazil.
- Create key performance indicators while tracking and focusing on value drivers (distribution, displays, flavors, and package development).
- Identify and establish new business opportunities in Brazil.
- Collaborate with internal Legal resources to ensure accurate and timely revisions of rolling contracts and negotiation of new contracts.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Strategy departments to understand key market dynamics through Nielsen/Syndicated data and custom research.
- Communicate effectively with regional and international team members within assigned market territories.
