Ashland is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to lead our Latin America Personal Care business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive commercial success and value proposition delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive commercial success and value proposition delivery.
  • Lead the development of marketing tools and documentation for and in collaboration with Marcom and Global Marketing.
  • Drive the development, positioning, and launch of new products or new product applications regionally by bridging innovation with market demand and aspiration.
  • Analyze existing and potential Personal Care markets to best position Ashland vs. competition, identify unmet market and key customer needs, and product line extension opportunities.
  • Lead marketing of Innova launches.
  • Set price positioning with global marketing input for new and existing products.
  • Drive global market share growth of core products and product lines in LATAM, at key accounts, and in each region by partnering with key stakeholders in each respective area.
  • Track and maximize sustainable and profitable expansion of existing products and their lifecycle stages (including portfolio management).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • MBA is also required.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a strategic marketing role and ability to analyze data and information, demonstrate financial acumen, business planning, strategic frameworks, etc.
  • Relevant knowledge of excipients, ingredients, and related materials.
  • Ability and desire to function at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Strong influencing capabilities, leadership accountability, and process discipline and rigor.
  • Experience in influencing and indirectly managing cross-functional teams and working collaboratively and globally in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy development and execution, market and trend research, customer segmentation, communication channel mix.
  • Excellent communication skills, talent for building strong networks within Ashland but also with potential customers and external partners.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills, pleasant and engaging style, and executive presence.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
