As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will lead efforts to elicit future systems requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis to analyze, design and implement business solutions for complex business problems.

You will partner with business analysts and respective cross-functional business groups to elicit functional and non-functional requirements. You will proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: functional requirements (business requirements document), use cases, GUI, screen and interface designs.

You will take a broad perspective to identify innovative business solutions that challenge the business on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans. You will participate in defining the integration between proposed development projects and existing systems, software and hardware.

You will collaborate with other divisions IT leads as well as other stakeholders to align solution in support of the business' tactical and strategic plans. You will align IT goals with business needs.

You will research emerging technologies and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness, improve flexibility or better support business requirements.

You will work closely with third-party vendors including software providers, implementation partners, and consultants.

You will partner with key strategic solutions partners for small and large scale engagements to help develop the vision of the technology service.

You will mentor other analysts on the team by providing guidance and hands-on solving of complex problems.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Completed Bachelor's degree;
• Advanced/Fluent English is required;
• Experience developing experience implementing solutions for complex systems supporting business processes;
• Experience in leadership;
• Experience driving software and technology solutions in large, complex organizations;
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and projects to drive business improvements;
• Experience driving process and technology re-engineering using industry practices e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, COBIT, ITIL, CMMi;

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Ability to be flexible about project changes and dynamically mitigate risks in the moment with mid-course corrective action;
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, complex projects simultaneously;
• Appropriately manages customer expectations regarding scope, schedule, and budgetary parameters;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong estimation skills and techniques required;
• Proven project planning and management skills;
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new things;

The ideal candidate will also have experience implementing or managing at least one time and attendance system in the last years, experience with using, implementing or configuring Infor WFM or Infor Workbrain, a high level understanding of Mexico national and regional regulatory requirements for time and attendance related activities, previous exposure to or a high level understanding of ADP Streamline Payroll, business process knowledge preferred (e.g., Plan-to-Produce process, manufacturing execution systems), expertise in various software development methodologies and applicability, e.g., XP, iterative, exceptional understanding of software quality principles including test methodologies.
