As a seasoned Software Engineering Manager, you will lead high-performing teams to design and deliver cutting-edge software solutions. You will be responsible for managing a team of 5-10 engineers and testers, overseeing technical design, coding, and architecture. Your expertise in software development at scale, including NodeJS, React, AWS, functional programming, JavaScript, cloud services, relational databases, Redis, and microservice architectures will drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  2. Manage technical design, coding, and architecture to ensure efficient and scalable systems.
  3. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and timelines.
  5. Ensure delivery of high-quality products within agreed-upon deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering management, with relevant skills gained and developed in similar roles.
  • Recent hands-on development experience as a senior engineer (5-8+ years total development experience).
  • Well-versed in our technical stack (NodeJS, React, AWS) and ready to hit the ground running as a working manager.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
