Job Summary

As a Local Delivery Manager at Orange Business, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of service orders in assigned local countries. You will work closely with customers to meet or exceed targets set by management regarding customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include managing order delivery, resolving issues with carriers and third-party vendors, and coordinating with field engineers for installation. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate databases and ensuring quality of first-time installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage order delivery and ensure timely receipt of local loops and associated equipment.
  • Resolve ordering-related issues with carriers and third-party vendors.
  • Coordinate with field engineers for installation and ensure quality of first-time installations.
  • Maintain accurate databases and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage service and solution components until full delivery to the customer.
  • Escalate or expedite implementation issues to minimize delays in meeting customer committed delivery dates.
  • Assess circuit orders to optimize resources and cost.
  • Manage port allocation process and place circuit orders with local carriers and third-party vendors.
  • Lead testing of circuit deliveries with carriers until circuit is fully operational.
  • Be the single point of contact for local customers, providing status and progress reports, and managing customer relationship management questions.
  • Request and analyze site surveys when applicable.
  • Be the main point of contact for field engineers during installation.
  • Assist with acceptance tests when applicable.
  • Incorporate and manage country-specific requirements in the provisioning process.

Requirements

  • Sound understanding of telecommunications, messaging, hosting, and security protocols and technologies.
  • Sound understanding of circuits, hardware, and associated hosting, security, and messaging and the network – Network Components.
  • Good understanding of Service Delivery processes and organization.
  • Good understanding of all Orange Services.
  • Good understanding of CIM tools such as SESAM, OPAS, GPM, FILEADE, etc.
  • Good understanding of the Telco (Carrier) environment.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Time management skills.
  • Customer-facing skills.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Independent self-starter.
  • Customer-focused.
  • "Can Do" attitude.
  • Team spirit.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Degree/Equivalent in telecommunications field, preferred.
  • Solid experience in the specified local telecommunications area.
  • Customer Service and Telecommunications experience, highly desirable.
