Job Summary

The role of Lieutenant is a key position in maintaining a safe and secure campus environment.

This leadership role involves supervising security personnel, training staff, and coordinating daily activities to ensure compliance with established goals and objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage shift operations, provide training, and oversee patrol activities.
  • Assume supervisory responsibility for all operations during an assigned shift or function, ensuring adherence to policy and procedures.
  • Provide training and instructions to subordinates to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics.
  • Interpret and disseminate policies, procedures, and directives from the Department and federal/municipal governments.

Requirements
  • High School Graduate or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • Five (5) years of responsible work experience in law enforcement or security, including two (2) years at a supervisory level or equivalent combination of relevant training and experience

Additional Information
