Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global IT Operations Specialist to provide leadership over our digital workplace applications with global responsibility for IT Operations. This critical role supports the digital team member experience and elevates the digital dexterity of the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Streamline Technology Use: Create a culture that enables digital dexterity to support the productive use of technology for better business outcomes.
  • Build Partnerships: Build partnerships among key stakeholders to understand business needs and to ensure that digital workplace initiatives support business outcomes.
  • Measure Team Member Experience: Work closely with team members in Talent & Culture to measure team member experience, ensure team member communication is effective, and further team member capabilities with the use of technology.
  • Ensure IT Policies and Procedures: Ensure adequate IT policies, procedures, and best practices for the organization in partnership with our IT security team.
  • Manage IT Operations Staff and Vendors: Manage all IT operations staff and vendors, providing leadership and coaching to ensure departmental success.
  • Create and Own Technology Budget: Create and own the technology budget, making strategic recommendations for IT infrastructure and capabilities.
  • Ensure System and Network Operations: Ensure all systems, networks, and infrastructure remain operational through preventative maintenance and support.
  • Identify Emerging Technologies: Identify emerging technologies and opportunities to innovate through new systems and tools.
  • Stay Current on IT Trends: Remain current on IT trends, cybersecurity best practices, and compliance regulations.
  • Provide Hands-on Support: Identify appropriate ticket distribution and escalation process and provide hands-on support for tickets as appropriate globally, and all local Brazil hardware-related tickets.
Qualifications
  • Strong Expertise in Digital Workplace Applications: Must possess strong expertise in multiple digital workplace applications, including Google suite of business products, AI alternatives, and more.
  • Success in Partnering with Stakeholders: Demonstrated success partnering with stakeholders to identify and support technology needs that further business outcomes and provide for a positive team member experience.
  • Strong Leadership and Technical Knowledge: Strong leadership abilities in addition to technical knowledge across hardware, software, networks, and security.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and results-oriented mindset with the drive to deliver exceptional support with 3+ years managing an IT operations team and ensuring timely resolution of support tickets.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts to business leaders and business concepts to technologists, and to sell ideas and processes internally at all levels.
  • Experience Working on a Geographically Distributed Team: Experience working on a geographically distributed team supporting multiple countries; must speak English fluently in order to support a global population.
