Job Title: Sales Market Development Manager
Job Description:
As a Sales Market Development Manager at Coherent, you will be responsible for driving new account development and expansion of the existing customer base in Italy. Your primary goal will be to sell industrial laser sources to the Italian industry, achieve booking targets, and provide accurate scheduled business forecasts.
Responsibilities:
- Selling industrial laser sources to the Italian industry
- Achieving booking targets
- Direct handling of key-accounts
- Developing new sales accounts
- Identifying new market opportunities
- Providing accurate scheduled business forecasts
- Collecting market relevant data and competitive information
- Supporting marketing activities (articles, presentations, exhibitions)
- Worldwide travel as needed for customer visits, company meetings, and trade shows
Requirements:
- Successfully completed technical studies or higher technical education
- Minimum 3 years in commercial sales in B2B environment. Sales experience with Tier1 and Tier2 clients and electric mobility market in Italy will be an advantage
- Knowledge of laser technology and materials processing applications
- High degree of self-organization with ability to prioritize and to work independently
- Trustworthy and reliable with a passion about sales
- Very good communication and negotiation skills
- Business fluent Italian, fluent English skills
- Readiness for travel in Europe (up to 50%)
