Geotechnical Engineering Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a critical role in the assessment and analysis of ground conditions for various structures.
About this opportunity:
- You will develop specifications, interpret field test data, and estimate soil engineering properties for foundation design.
- Recommend and monitor lab tests, interpret results, and produce reports for project managers.
- Perform construction site inspections and prepare inspection reports.
- Design geostructural analysis and waterfront structures, including bulkheads, retaining walls, deep foundations, and flood control structures.
- Design wall structural components, ensuring local and global soil stability.
- Prepare construction drawings and contract documents.
- Study safety quality standards and ensure adherence to these standards during projects.
- Present possible project risks, evaluate seismic activities, and make recommendations for foundations and excavation activities.
- Resolve design problems through field investigation or inspections, detailed design work, and coordination of specific design aspects.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or relevant experience.
- M.Sc. degree in geotechnical engineering.
- Fluency in English (Essential).
- 15+ years of experience.
- Professional Engineer licensure in Brazil CREA.
- Experience with geotechnical software packages, such as LPile, APile, Plaxis, and Settle3.
