About Our Technical Leadership Role

This leadership position will oversee the strategic development and governance of technology platforms for consumer websites and mobile apps, partnering closely with engineering leaders to deliver foundational solutions.

The role enables cross-functional teams to efficiently create and operate features with consistent design and performance, combining into high-quality overall experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine how to assess users' needs and establish ongoing evaluation processes in partnership with platform engineering leaders.
  • Lead in defining desired outcomes and strategy, then initiatives and processes to achieve those outcomes.
  • Create and maintain platform team roadmaps, evaluating potential work's value and priority.
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria that focus on specific outcomes without detailing engineering solutions.
Requirements
  • Significant expertise in current technologies and practices for creating, deploying, and operating websites and mobile apps.
  • Experience working within agile product teams to build customer-facing software.
  • Proven success in translating user and stakeholder needs into relevant outcomes and development scope.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in e-commerce websites and/or mobile app development.
  • Familiarity with major public cloud providers.
  • Knowledge of content delivery networks.
