Job Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to utilize comprehensive technical expertise to ensure the seamless functioning of the organization's operations by managing the various technologies and systems that constitute the IS Infrastructure.
Furthermore, this role involves delivering application support and process automation through scripting, promptly addressing service disruptions and requests to uphold operational efficiency.
Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential. Possessing leadership qualities is also a valuable asset for this position.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-6:00PM
Core Responsibilities Include:
Performing Routine IS Basic Tasks (Keep The Lights On); Offering support and troubleshooting for branches/users; Managing and maintaining server rooms (including backups); Fostering a community that encourages the exchange of best practices and promoting global consistency; Driving Automation & Innovation (including PowerShell); Overseeing Procurement, Asset Management, and Inventory; Maintaining and troubleshooting audio/visual equipment; Administering and maintaining telecommunications; Managing Expeditors Proprietary Applications; Administering third-party systems; Planning and utilizing capacity; Administering helpdesk operations; Conducting training sessions; Ensuring disaster recovery and high availability; Implementing cybersecurity measures; Understanding networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN), including warehouse RF setup and configuration; Utilizing Office 365; Troubleshooting, maintaining, and deploying Windows PCs; Managing printers and copiers; Administering Windows Server (including Active Directory and Group Policies); Understanding Linux Server Administration (fundamentals); Engaging in virtualization; Conducting remote administration; Managing mobile devices (iOS/Android).Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (in progress); IT Certifications are advantageous: CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Linux; Previous experience in IT helpdesk is preferred.
