We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive revenue growth and strategic initiatives in Brazil. As a key member of our global team, you will lead a high-performing sales and partnerships team, ensuring we exceed revenue targets while maintaining our reputation for quality and innovation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering (and exceeding) revenue targets, with a deep understanding of the Brazilian market and international business acumen. They will be a natural leader who motivates teams through purpose, trust, and clear communication, with excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
This is a senior leadership position that blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, content, and global leadership to ensure commercial success across our flagship events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Brazil, aligning with global goals and local market dynamics.
- Lead, inspire, and grow a motivated sales and partnerships team.
- Own revenue targets across exhibition space, sponsorship, and digital platforms.
- Build long-term relationships with key clients, sponsors, and industry partners.
- Use market intelligence to identify new opportunities and commercial models.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and thought leadership forums.
- Collaborate with product, content, and marketing teams to shape compelling customer propositions.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring transparency and accountability across the commercial function.
- Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role, ideally within exhibitions, media, events, or B2B services.
- Deep understanding of the Brazilian market with international business acumen.
- Strong track record of delivering (and exceeding) revenue targets.
- Natural leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams through purpose, trust, and clear communication.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish a plus).
- Ability to travel locally and internationally as needed.
