Job Description

At Amazon, every day is an opportunity to innovate and push boundaries. We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our Logistics team in Brasília as a Delivery Station Manager.

This role will be pivotal in the overall management of the Delivery Station. Your responsibilities will include maintaining Health and Safety standards, promoting a culture of safety on-site, and becoming proficient in specific processes such as 5S audits.

You will handle meaningful data collection, updating operations metrics on an hourly basis, and aim to achieve productivity targets while reducing cost per unit and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Additionally, you will partner closely with support teams on staffing plans, schedules, and performance levels, and implement progressive process change within your site and the broader Brazil Amazon Logistics network.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards within your remit area
  • Promote and inspire a culture of safety on-site
  • Become proficient in specific processes such as 5S audits
  • Handle meaningful data collection, updating operations metrics on an hourly basis
  • Aim to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, and ensure an excellent customer experience

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a strong track record in leadership and logistics management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, extensive experience in leading large teams, and expertise in production or supply chain areas.

Additionally, we require candidates with advanced Excel skills, including vlookup, advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros. Fluency in Portuguese and basic English is also essential.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Employee and performance management experience
  • Previous experience in leading large, diverse teams
  • Expertise in two or more production or supply chain areas
  • Ability to organize details, establish root cause analysis, and extract and analyze data
  • Advanced level in Excel (vlookup, advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completed master's degree or MBA
  • Experience with Kaizen and Lean methodologies
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
