Land Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Land Engagement Specialist. This role involves collaborating with producers to ensure smooth project execution, capturing essential farm data, and maintaining open communication.
Job Description:
The Land Engagement Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned producers, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries and issues. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate contract follow-through, operational readiness, and data collection.
Producer Relationship Management: Establish trust with rural stakeholders through effective communication and timely issue resolution.
Contract Coordination: Collaborate with Legal and Operations teams to ensure clear communication, understanding, and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
Data Collection and Analysis: Lead the structured collection, verification, and maintenance of farm data to support deployment planning, MRV eligibility, and reporting needs.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Implement and track farmer compliance with clients' requirements, covering sustainable practice training, agronomic consultations, and adherence to safety protocols.
Process Development and Team Alignment: Create scalable processes for producer engagement and data management, ensuring seamless collaboration between Farmer Success, Legal, Operations, Agronomy, and MRV teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Agricultural Knowledge: A bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Production, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field (master's preferred). Proven experience in farmer engagement, rural extension, agricultural project management, or related roles.
Relationship Building: High EQ and ability to establish trust with rural stakeholders and internal teams alike.
Structured Problem-Solving: Anticipates needs, organizes work clearly, and stays ahead of deadlines.
Cross-Cultural Communication: Adapts style and approach to different audiences, from smallholder farmers to corporate partners.
Execution-Focused: Keeps projects moving and delivers tangible results, even under ambiguous conditions.
