Senior Account Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to join our team at Kerry, a leading taste and nutrition company. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic plans to achieve sales objectives in the Pet Food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a Latin America sales strategy, with a focus on Brazil, aligned with our global strategy.
  • Promote Kerry Pet Food technologies and capabilities to target customers in the Pet Food business.
  • Gain and maintain detailed knowledge of each existing and potential customer within the territory, including their products, internal manufacturing capabilities, company information, market information, and key personnel.
  • Understand customers' decision-making processes and identify key influencers, end-users, and decision-makers within their organizations.
  • Develop a win-win sales strategy based on customer needs, internal capabilities, competitor weaknesses, and Kerry's strengths.
  • Coordinate with Kerry support personnel to manage customer projects and ensure all customer needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Conduct annual business reviews with key accounts in the territory.
  • Forecast territory sales figures and budget for the upcoming year, and monitor monthly actual sales versus budget.
  • Prepare for and attend sales meetings and industry trade show meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business.
  • Robust sales experience in formulations, product/process development, services, equipment, or manufacturing related to the Pet Food industry.
  • Good experience visiting customer sites where Pet Food formulations are manufactured.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills to effectively manage customer and internal company activities.
  • Consultative/strategic complex selling skills.
  • Strong goal-setting, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix interacting with peers from other regions and cross-functions in Latam.
  • Computer literacy (minimum Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and good written and presentation skills.
  • Able to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Able to work on own initiative and take on responsibility.
  • Fluency in Local and International Languages is required.
