This role is responsible for leading a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions.
About the RoleThe Software Engineering Manager will be part of a collaborative team working with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Reliability Engineers to achieve common goals.
Main Responsibilities- Develop team members through management, coaching, mentoring, and feedback focusing on learning and growth;
- Own team processes, agility, ceremonies, and flow metrics;
- Lead technical discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and Agile ceremonies;
- Implement engineering best practices;
- Have back-end development familiarity (APIs, cloud, messaging, observability, CI/CD, etc.);
- Contribute to setting team, product, and engineering goals;
- Maintain a solution-oriented mindset and continuous improvement;
- Lead, manage, and develop distributed remote teams;
- Ensure strong written and verbal communication;
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists;
- Show results orientation;
- Have experience in hiring, interviewing, and growing teams;
- Experience with operations (24x7 services) and observability;
- Experience leading teams using Kanban;
- Experience with data science and artificial intelligence;
