Revenue Management Portfolio Director Job Summary

\

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Management Portfolio Director to join our team. As a key member of our revenue management leadership, you will be responsible for directing global revenue management projects and initiatives to hotel communities through partnerships with operations partners and Revenue Management teams.

\

This role requires a strong understanding of revenue management systems and best practices, including HOLIDEX Plus and PERFORM. You will participate in the development of key global revenue management initiatives as the voice of the hotel community and provide continuous feedback to Americas revenue management leadership to ensure successful adoption.

\

The ideal candidate will have experience working with hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimization, and selling strategies. Key responsibilities include facilitating communication and training of key Americas revenue management projects and initiatives to the hotel community, providing feedback to global revenue management as the voice of the hotel community, driving implementation of brand and regional pricing strategies, yield strategies, selling strategies, and revenue management best practices, investigating and communicating new ways to capture optimal revenue potentials, and directing and supporting hotels on revenue maximization through the full utilization of the Company's systems and best practices.

Requirements

  • \
  • 8-10 years progressive work-related experience in hotel operations management, revenue management, or field consulting.\
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, or a relevant field of study.\
  • Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation.\
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management, and staff.\
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with leadership, field support teams, and key hotel representatives.\
  • Conflict management/resolution and negotiation/persuasion skills to persuade key partners within revenue management, HPS, and the hotels community to modify or implement various corporate-sponsored programs and initiatives.\
  • A strong understanding of revenue management systems and best practices, including HOLIDEX Plus and PERFORM.\
  • Experience working with hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimization, and selling strategies.\
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\
  • Strategic thinking and ability to drive revenue growth.\
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.\
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, including hotel owners, operators, and employees.\
  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing business environment.\
  • Results-driven and goal-oriented individual who can work well under pressure.\
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual who takes initiative and ownership of their work.\
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.\
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\
  • Knowledge of industry trends and developments, including changes in regulations, laws, and market conditions.\
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.\
  • Availability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.\\
