The Part Time Operations Assistant Manager will assist with operational tasks within the store as delegated and assigned by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
- Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
- Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
- Adhere to policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
- Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
- Maintain all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
- Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates when the Store Manager is not present.
- Process SSC Corporate directives, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information requests.
- Assist the Store Manager on receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
- To assist in maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience.
- To supervise and direct the work of other employees in the performance of their duties.
- To coordinate and manage the flow of work in the store to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- To communicate effectively with staff, management and suppliers to achieve team goals.
- To identify and report any security risks or breaches.
