Position Overview

The Head of Supply Chain Operations for Brazil and Demand Fulfillment in Latin America is a pivotal role aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and effectiveness across the region. This position requires a forward-thinking leader who is passionate about optimizing supply chain processes.

Reporting Structure

This role reports directly to the Executive Director of Supply Chain Operations for the Americas and will lead a skilled team dedicated to ensuring operational excellence, demand fulfillment, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain management strategies.
  • Oversee budget management and performance metrics.
  • Act as a representative of Organon Manufacturing & Supply in various leadership forums.
  • Manage demand forecasting and integrated business planning processes.
  • Supervise order management and fulfillment operations for Brazil and beyond.
  • Direct logistics operations and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers.
  • Ensure compliance with import, export, and trade regulations.
  • Utilize performance analytics to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Lead strategic transformation initiatives within the supply chain.
  • Provide support to local packaging sites and external manufacturing partners.
  • Oversee demand fulfillment activities across all Latin American markets.

This role is also responsible for executing strategic projects related to supply chain management and ensuring alignment with commercial and financial objectives. The incumbent will serve as a key liaison to the Managing Directors in Brazil and will supervise the Supply Chain Operations Lead for Brazil, fostering collaboration with Business Unit Leaders.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing complex supply chains.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with commercial teams.
  • Strong understanding of the regional supply chain landscape is preferred.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience in driving transformation initiatives is advantageous.
  • Successful track record in budget management and operational efficiency.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management is a plus.
  • Ability to manage operations across multiple markets.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and innovative thinking.
  • Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
