Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Tax Manager to lead our tax team in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 25 professionals, fostering high performance and technical growth.
  • Ensure the accurate calculation and reporting of direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, ICMS-ST), for both legal and corporate purposes.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Brazilian tax legislation, including the implementation of tax reform.
  • Manage tax risks and provide advisory support for business initiatives.
  • Conduct financial analyses to identify tax optimization opportunities.
  • Manage tax audits and interactions with government authorities.
  • Define and implement tax policies and strategies aligned with the group.
  • Work on international taxation and transfer pricing issues, in alignment with OECD guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Experience: Solid experience in tax management, with a strong focus on Brazilian tax laws and regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a large team effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Portuguese and English.
  • Ethics: Strong ethical standards and integrity in managing sensitive financial information.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, tax software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
